Designed for mixed-use buildings, upper-floor gyms, and Olympic lifting environments where impact noise is a compliance requirement. Delivers 28 dB of impact sound reduction — the highest performance in the Superstrata range.
The double-Shield configuration creates two decoupling layers between the surface and the structural slab. Each Shield layer absorbs a portion of the impact wave — the combined effect is 28 dB of impact sound reduction, measured at the Dankois Pesit laboratory (report A-2021LAB-003).
This system is specified for upper-floor gyms in hotels, residential developments, and office buildings where noise transfer to adjacent spaces is a planning or building regulation requirement.
Data shown for the maximum-performance configuration: 40mm Titan + 2 × 20mm Shield. Acoustic data from Dankois Pesit laboratory, report A-2021LAB-003.
